HIST 211 - History of England to 16883 CR This course will examine English history and its culture from the Roman invasions through the English Civil War and the Glorious Revolution. Students will study England’s cultural traditions (legal, religious, and philosophical, as well as artistic and literary) within the political, economic, and social context. Emphasis is placed on the origins and development of the institutions most affecting the heritage of the English-speaking world.
Requisites: Next Gen ACCUPLACER® reading score of 244, or at least a grade of C in TSRE 55 .
