Hospitality Management Certificate


Program Description

Code: 1640 -16 Credits

The Hospitality Management program will provide students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in the dynamic and rewarding field of hospitality and tourism management. This program is ideal for individuals who aspire to pursue a career in hotels, restaurants, resorts, event planning, or any other sector within the hospitality industry.

Program Learning Outcomes


  1. Possess a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including its history, current trends, and future developments.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty in various hospitality settings.
  3. Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and superiors, using both verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Adhere to ethical and responsible management practices, including compliance with industry regulations and environmental sustainability.
  5. Understand key business and financial concepts related to the hospitality industry, such as budgeting, revenue management, and cost control. 
  6. Identify industry regulations, health and safety standards, and legal requirements.
