Industrial Electricity and Electronics Certificate


Program Description

Code 150 - 30 Credits

Complex electrical and electronic control systems that require sophisticated computer programming, monitoring, and diagnostics are an integral part of advanced manufacturing and renewable energy systems. The Industrial Electricity and Electronics core curriculum at Kellogg Community College prepares students to install, maintain, and repair these systems. Students may pursue either a Certificate or an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Electricity and Electronics. To earn the certificate, students must complete thirty (30) credits in the core Industrial Electricity and Electronics curriculum.

Modular Format

Industrial Trades curricula are offered in a non-traditional, modular format. Module descriptions are not listed in the catalog. Industrial Trades Orientation

All students interested in taking Industrial Trades modules must complete one or more core curriculum orientations. The orientation is a core curriculum prerequisite. Students will not be able to register for modules until the orientation is completed.
