EXSC 201 - Kinesiology 3 CR This course involves a detailed study of the human musculoskeletal system and its function. Laws and principles of mechanics as they apply to the use of the human body, human mechanism, and its process of motor function are examined. Bony landmarks, muscle origin, insertion, and actions, and biomechanics and injury mechanism and prevention are examined. The course will also emphasize the use of mechanics in assessing and evaluating human and sport related motion.
Requisites: Next Gen ACCUPLACER® Reading score of 244, or TSRE 55 with a grade of C (AND) BIOL 201 with a grade of C.
