INPF 05011 - Pipefitting Safety

The pipefitting student will learn the principles of safety as it applies to the pipefitting trade. The pipefitting student will learn the hazards and what should be done to ensure the safety of each person on the job site.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Identify safe work practices.
  2. Compare potential worksite scenarios for safe work practices.
  3. Demonstrate proper lockout of electrical switches and disconnects.
  4. Demonstrate proper lockout of piping systems and components.
  5. Identify stored energy.
