MATH 142 - Calculus 2

A study of the techniques of integration, limits, series, and applications. Students are required to have a graphing calculator. Specifications will be made by the instructor. Lab Fee

Requisites: Take MATH 141  with at least a grade of C.

Course Learning Outcomes:
1. Explore various techniques of integration and applications such as area, arc length, volume, and center of mass. 
2. Study sequences and series, and related concepts such as convergence, divergence, function approximation, differentiation, and integration.
3. Solve differential equations using separation of variables.
4. Examine differentiation and integration ideas related to parametric equations and polar coordinates.
5. Demonstrate understanding of calculus from multiple perspectives such as algebraic, numeric, graphical, and verbal approaches.
6. Model real world situations using concepts of integration and differentiation.
