INRE 15010 - Cells, Modules, and Arrays 0.88 CR
The heart of any photovoltaic system is the cells. The method in which the cells are grouped together to form modules, panels, and arrays is an important part of a photovoltaic installation. This module will explore different types of photovoltaic cells, how they work, and how the way they are connected. These factors can significantly affect the performance of a photovoltaic installation.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Select proper photovoltaic system components based on their characteristics.
- Understand the process of converting sunlight to direct current and alternating current
- Define the benefits of dc current and ac current in different situations
- Examine different photovoltaic systems and when one may have an advantage over another.
