INST 20050 - Acceleration, Vibration, and Shock

When working with process control and instrumentation, the technician must be familiar with many types of measurement systems. In this module, the student will learn how to measure acceleration, vibration, and shock.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Understand how stress, strain, weight, mass, and motion affect different instrumentation processes.
  2. Solve stress/strain calculations.
  3. Perform positioning measurements.
