INPF 75121 - Troubleshooting Boilers 0.25 CR
The pipefitting student will study the sequence of boiler operations, adjustment procedures for boilers, and troubleshooting of boilers.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Differentiate between high- and low-pressure steam boilers.
- Identify hydronic boilers, controls, associated equipment and pressure, and temperature range.
- List the four systems necessary for boiler operation.
- List the requirements for fire.
- List types of fuel used for boiler operation.
- Identify types of boilers.
- Explain boiler operation, safety requirements, and associated operating equipment.
- Describe repair and preventative maintenance techniques for boiler repair.
