INPF 15011 - Introduction to Blueprint Reading

The pipefitting student will identify the various dimensional views used in blueprint reading by applying them to a real-world hands-on activity.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Distinguish the various views for a third-angle projection.
  2. Differentiate between detailed, assembly drawings, and cross-sectional blueprints.
  3. Construct a third-angle projection from provided prints.
  4. Identify drawing numbers, parts, and measurements.
  5. Identify piping blueprint symbols.
  6. Select specific items located on various piping blueprints.
  7. Extract information from blueprints.
