INMT 75010 - Mastercam Level 1 Mill 1.50 CR
CAD, CAM, or CNC programmers must effectively and efficiently operate CAD and CAM software to create CNC programs. This module will provide the student with information necessary for the development of these skills and abilities as they apply to 2-D drawings and toolpath creation in the manufacturing environment.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Create the geometry, surfaces, and solids required for toolpath processing.
- Create safe, accurate, and efficient MCAM-generated G-code programs.
- Safely prepare materials, tooling, and equipment for CNC machining operations.
- Safely use CNC machinery to produce complex surfaces and parts that conform to design specifications.
- Verify machined parts and complex surfaces conform to design specifications.
