The manufacturing worker must effectively and efficiently use measurement devices and apply precision measurement processes and practices. This module will provide the student with information necessary for the development of these skills and abilities as they apply to use the height gauge.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Accurately measure part features with precision measuring instruments.
  2. Layout precise angles on workpieces using precision tools.
  3. Verify machined components conform to design specifications.
