INHR 25011 - Introduction to Hydronic Systems 0.42 CR In this module, the HVAC-R student will learn about hydronic systems. This module will cover the various types of systems available and the numerous system components, including boilers, valves, radiators, and piping.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Distinguish the difference between residential and commercial hydronic systems.
- Identify concepts, components, and the purpose of water heating and chilled water systems.
- Identify the common piping of water heating and cooling circuits.
- Explain the techniques used in pressure monitoring and balancing a hydronic system.
- Select and demonstrate proper calculation methods, tools, and instruments for hydronic system tuning including pressure, balance, flow, and temperature.
