In this module, the student will learn a step-by-step technique that makes reading and designing event sequencing programs much easier.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Identify typical components of a Programmable Logic Controller.
- Explain the concepts of a Programmable Logic Controller.
- State basic PLC terminology and its meanings.
- Demonstrate the concept of electrical ladder logic, its history, and its relationship to programmed PLC instruction.
- Explain the purpose, functions, and operations of a PLC
- Apply the status, input, and output data tables to troubleshoot and debug PLC programming and operations.
