SCIE 102 - Physical Science 4 CR A lecture/laboratory course that integrates the sciences of astronomy, physics, chemistry, and modern contemporary science. Emphasis is placed on applications and principles contributed by all the physical sciences. [48-32-80] Lab Fee

- Identify the physical laws that govern our everyday lives.
- Calculate the rate of velocity and acceleration given an appropriate set of data.
- Construct parallel and series circuits.
- Analyze new astronomical discoveries as they relate to humans on earth.
- Identify and explain the processes and systems that create weather on earth.
- Demonstrate skills using various types of instruments used in the pursuit of science.
- Through a general synthesis, students will develop his or her own fundamental view of the world we live in today.
