CP 210 - Java Programming 3 CR This course is designed to develop programming skills in the most current Java programming environment. These skills will include the use of Object-Oriented programming techniques to write both applications and applets. Programs will be written using simple event-driven windows, graphical interaction, objects (instances, inheritance polymorphism, and overloading), and resource interaction. [32-32-64] Lab Fee
Requisites: Select 1 course from CP 101 or CP 102 . Course Learning Outcomes:
- Construct a Java program that the student will utilize the appropriate selection of data types both primitive and aggregate that is interactive and output using specified formats.
- Construct and build a Java program that applies the use of interactive input and flow control structures.
- Construct and build a Java program that applies the use of objects that are user-defined with specified access to attributes and behaviors.
- Construct and build a Java program that applies the use of common graphical user interface elements as well as simple graphics.
