Code 301 - 61-62 Credits
The Business Management program at Kellogg Community College prepares students to enter the career of management and supervision. The program includes a rigorous curriculum of classroom and lab experiences that prepare the student for success in small or large businesses.
This degree program is MTA aligned and is designed to meet pre-business course requirements for all business-related majors. These majors include accountancy, business analytics, business law, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, human resource management, supply management, management, marketing, and sales. It is recommended that a student complete the entire associate degree in order to transfer to a four-year institution with junior standing.
Requirements for the Degree
- A minimum of sixty (60) credit hours earned, excluding BIOL, TSMA and TSRE courses with numbers less than 100 and MUSI 100. A cumulative grade point average at KCC of at least 2.0.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) credit hours must be completed at Kellogg Community College.
- A maximum of 75% of the credit hours required for a degree may be documented and transferred to KCC.
- All Students who obtain an Associate degree must complete the FYS 101 - First-Year Seminar course with a grade of a C or higher. This degree requirement can also be achieved by earning a degree from an accredited institution or transferring 24 or more credits from another accredited institution applicable to their degree. Service-Learning Requirement
Students who obtain an Associate degree or an Associate of Applied Science degree will be required to complete a service-learning experience. The final grade in the course must qualify for academic credit in order to receive the service-learning endorsement.
