To enter into the career field of a maintenance technician responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, this certificate program is a designed for students who are interested in pursuing skilled trades coursework. Employment opportunities within this career field include manufacturing, health care, education, automotive, retail, commercial real estate, agriculture, senior centers, restaurants, and more. The flexible coursework allows a student the ability to expand their education in specific industry specialties once the base industrial trades coursework is completed.
