Program Description
Accelerated Nights and Weekends program
Code 213B - 60 Credits
KCC’s Weekend Business College Program is an accelerated program designed for individuals who are currently in or seeking to enter the business field. This Program provides learners with the opportunity to develop additional leadership, organization, and communication skills en route to obtaining a Certificate and Associate Degree in Business Management. This stackable credential model is in alignment with industry standards in providing students the opportunity to receive multiple credentials in an expedited manner.
Service-Learning Requirement
Students who obtain an Associate degree or an Associate of Applied Science degree will be required to complete a service-learning experience. The final grade in the course must qualify for academic credit in order to receive the service-learning endorsement. Please contact an Academic Advisor for courses that offer a service-learning experience, or search in the class schedules.

Program Learning Outcomes
- Business Environment: The student will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the multiple contexts of business - including within the global and legal environment.
- Ethics & Social Responsibility - the student will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to apply ethics and social responsibility in a business setting.
- Accounting Principles - The student will be able to identify, explain, and apply generally accepted accounting principles.
- Office Procedures & Technical Proficiency - The student will demonstrate knowledge of office procedures and demonstrate technical proficiency in a business environment.
- Communication - Students will demonstrate effective communication to include receiving, interpreting, and sharing of information in the verbal and non-verbal, and digital forms.
Required General Education Courses
All Students who obtain an Associate degree or an Associate of Applied Science degree must complete the FYS 101 - First-Year Seminar course with a grade of a C or higher. This degree requirement can also be achieved by earning a degree from an accredited institution or transferring 24 or more credits from another accredited institution applicable to their degree.
