SOCI 203 - Marriage and Family3 CR This course introduces students to the study of families and relationships from a sociological perspective. It examines the evolution of marriage and families over time and their role in society today. Topics include intimate relationships, cohabitation, marriage, divorce, remarriage, parenting, stepfamilies, family violence, economic factors and social policies, and the impact of diverse family structures on family members.
Requisites: Next Gen ACCUPLACER® reading score of 244, or at least a grade of C in TSRE 55 .
