3CR This course is designed to acquaint the student with a brief history of sacred music, as well as the sacred music of today. Emphasis will be placed on literature usable by choirs with a non-traditional balance of parts. This course will also address methods of adapting published arrangements for specific choirs. Requisites: (1) Next Gen ACCUPLACER® reading score of 244, or at least a grade of C in TSRE 55 (AND) (2) Take MUSI 260 with at least a grade of C.
