INMT 251 - CNC Mill Programming 3

3 CR
Explores the use of CAM software to machine complex surfaces.  A variety of three-dimensional surfacing toolpaths are examined and used to produce bosses, cavities, and other complex surfaces common to electrodes, molds, and dies. Lab Fee

Requisites: INMT 250   with a grade of C or higher.
Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Develop programs for machining complex surfaces.
  2. Prove 3D surfacing programs on CNC milling machines.
  3. Evaluate CNC milled products and CNC milling processes.
