INEL 85010 - Robotics Introduction .67 CR In this module the student will receive a basic overview of robots, how they operate, and how they are integrated into automated manufacturing. The student will learn robotic terminology, the classification of robots, their principles of operation, and the interaction of sensors and machines in a robotic work cell. Lab Fee
Requisites: Complete INEL C910 Course Learning Outcomes:
- The student will be able to describe, identify, and inhibit hazards associated with automated systems and how to protect themselves from these hazards.
- The student will define various terms, symbols, abbreviations, and programming languages as they apply to automated systems.
- The student will recognize the different types of automated systems designs.
- The student will be able to program a variety of different automated systems.
- The student will be able to perform predictive and preventative maintenance functions on automated systems.
