MATH 115C - Math for Liberal Arts Lab

1 CR
Students in this course will develop foundational and auxiliary skills to support a successful outcome in MATH 115.

Additional Information: Must be taken concurrently with MATH 115.
Requisites: Next Gen ACCUPLACER® arithmetic score of at least 250, or Next Gen ACCUPLACER® quantitative reasoning score of at least 237, or 1 course from TSMA 45, MATH 102, or MATH 105 with at least a grade of C.
 
Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Use formulas and general forms of equations to solve problems.
  2. Select and utilize appropriate strategies for solving problems.
  3. Solve linear equations in one variable.
  4. Apply principles of probability to various types of problems.
