In this module, the student will learn how to design and interpret PLC programs that control the sequence of operations of entire machines. This is an important topic because most PLC programs perform a sequence of some kind. Lab Fee

Course Learning Outcomes:
- Select components needed for PLC program using an Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 Programmable Logic Controller.
- Demonstrate the concepts used to create a program using an Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 Programmable Logic Controller.
- Students will critique Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 PLC terminology and its meanings.
- Students will develop PLC programs using electrical ladder logic and PLC instruction, on the Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 platform.
- Demonstrate the purpose, functions, and operations of an Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 PLC.
- Evaluate the status, input and output data tables to troubleshoot and debug Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 PLC programming and operations.
