INEL 76020 - PLC Systems Troubleshooting

In this module, the student will learn a systematic method for troubleshooting the entire PLC system. This method will combine the troubleshooting skills for various PLC subsystems the student learned in the previous module with the processor troubleshooting skills the student will learn in Segment 1 of this module.   Lab Fee

Requisites: Complete INEL C910
Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Select components needed for PLC program using an Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 Programmable Logic Controller.
  2. Demonstrate the concepts used to create a program using an Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 Programmable Logic Controller.
  3. Students will critique Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 PLC terminology and its meanings.
  4. Students will develop PLC programs using electrical ladder logic and PLC instruction, on the Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 platform.
  5. Demonstrate the purpose, functions, and operations of an Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 PLC.
  6. Evaluate the status, input and output data tables to troubleshoot and debug Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 PLC programming and operations.
