INHR 12051 - Circuit Analysis 1 CR
It is important to understand the relationships between voltage, current and resistance in series and parallel circuits. This module requires the student to understand and use simple mathematical formulas to analyze electrical properties within those circuits. Ohm’s Law is covered again. The module also introduces circuit protection devices such as fuses and breakers.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate safe and proper use of electrical tools and equipment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic electrical theory.
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical circuits.
- Demonstrate an understanding of electrical communication using schematic and pictorial drawings.
- Demonstrate an understanding of HVAC-R electrical controls.
- Demonstrate electrical troubleshooting strategies and techniques on HVAC-R equipment.
