INT 30260 - Rigging Safety: Weight Estimation 0.13 CR
Rigging is principally the preparation involved in moving and placing loads and is a common task for a maintenance craft person. In this module, the student will learn how to estimate the weight, how to select the proper gear, and to safely move and install equipment.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Perform maintenance functions safely.
- Describe the hazards associated with electro-mechanical systems and how to protect themselves from these hazards.
- Explain the function of different electro-mechanical systems found in manufacturing.
- Describe how lubrication systems function and describe their importance in equipment maintenance.
