INT 30160 - Oils and their Applications 0.08 CR
In this module, the student will learn about various lubricating oils used with industrial equipment. Knowledge of the characteristics of oils should be used by the skilled maintenance employee to select the best lubricant to protect the moving parts of production machines.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Perform maintenance functions safely.
- Describe the hazards associated with electro-mechanical systems and how to protect themselves from these hazards.
- Explain the function of different electro-mechanical systems found in manufacturing.
- Describe how lubrication systems function and describe their importance in equipment maintenance.
