INT 30140 - Lubricants and Lubrication 0.17 CR
Proper lubrication is essential to keeping industrial equipment operating. Almost every machine and tool requires lubrication to protect its moving parts and ensure smooth operation. In this module, the student will learn the principles and procedures of lubrication and lubricants.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Perform maintenance functions safely.
- Describe the hazards associated with electro-mechanical systems and how to protect themselves from these hazards.
- Explain the function of different electro-mechanical systems found in manufacturing.
- Describe how lubrication systems function and describe their importance in equipment maintenance.
