INT 30130 - Gears 0.25 CR
In this module, the student will learn about gear construction, use, and the different terms used in describing gears. This knowledge aids in the installation, service, and maintenance of gear-drive units so that they are as efficient as possible.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Perform maintenance functions safely.
- Describe the hazards associated with electro-mechanical systems and how to protect themselves from these hazards.
- Explain the function of different electro-mechanical systems found in manufacturing.
- Describe how lubrication systems function and describe their importance in equipment maintenance.
