INST 25050 - Turbine and Magnetic Flowmeters

In instrumentation and process control, flow meters may be used extensively in some processes. In this module, the student will learn to use the various types of flow meters. 

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Understand the fundamentals of venture tubes, rotameter, and differential pressure transmitters.
  2. Explain the function of a variety of different pumps.
  3. Measure accurately fluid flow.
  4. Solve fluid flow equations.
