INST 25020 - Measuring Devices (Primary and Secondary)

In-process control instrumentation, it is necessary for the technician to be familiar with various types of measuring devices. In this module, the student will learn about primary and secondary measuring devices.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Understand the fundamentals of venture tubes, rotameter, and differential pressure transmitters.
  2. Explain the function of a variety of different pumps.
  3. Measure accurately fluid flow.
  4. Solve fluid flow equations.
