INST 25010 - Introduction to Fluid Flow

In order to understand process control and instrumentation methods, the technician needs to understand the properties of fluid flow. In this module, the student will study the properties of fluid flow.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Understand the fundamentals of venture tubes, rotameter, and differential pressure transmitters.
  2. Explain the function of a variety of different pumps.
  3. Measure accurately fluid flow.
  4. Solve fluid flow equations.
