INST 15030 - Low Pressure Measurement

When working with process controls, the Instrumentation Technician may also need to be familiar with pressure controls.  In this module, the student will learn about low-pressure measurement and low-pressure gauges.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Understand the fundamentals of a solenoid valve, digital pressure gauges, and differential pressure transducers.
  2. Understand the principles of pressure in liquids and gases.
  3. Solve pressure gain and loss calculations.
