INST 15020 - Pressure Sensors and Transducers

In the process control system, there are many controls the Instrumentation Technician must understand. In this module, the student will learn about pressure sensors and pressure transducers.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Understand the fundamentals of a solenoid valve, digital pressure gauges, and differential pressure transducers.
  2. Understand the principles of pressure in liquids and gases.
  3. Solve pressure gain and loss calculations.
