INEL 65010 - Event Sequencing 0.33 CR
In this module, the student will learn how to design and interpret PLC programs that control the sequence of operations of entire machines. This is an important topic because most PLC programs perform a sequence of some kind.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Identify typical components of a Programmable Logic Controller.
- Explain the concepts of a Programmable Logic Controller.
- State basic PLC terminology and its meanings.
- Demonstrate the concept of electrical ladder logic, its history, and its relationship to programmed PLC instruction.
- Explain the purpose, functions, and operations of a PLC
- Apply the status, input, and output data tables to troubleshoot and debug PLC programming and operations.
