INEL 45080 - Three Phase Transformer 0.50 CR
This module will teach the student how to draw diagrams showing how single-phase transformers can be connected for three-phase. The student will learn to Identify three-phase connections, their KVA capacity, and set-up and step-down applications.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Interpret building plans, specifications, electric service, and electrical drawings.
- Discuss transformer theory and calculations Identify power distribution systems and their unique connection characteristics and connections.
- Determine appropriate transformer sizes for various projects.
- Identify common signaling systems and their appropriate application.
