INEL 45070 - Single Phase Transformers 0.33 CR
The student will learn how transformers are constructed, how they function, and why they are used in modern electrical transportation systems.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Interpret building plans, specifications, electric service, and electrical drawings.
- Discuss transformer theory and calculations Identify power distribution systems and their unique connection characteristics and connections.
- Determine appropriate transformer sizes for various projects.
- Identify common signaling systems and their appropriate application.
