INEL 45060 - Industrial Hazardous Locations 0.25 CR
In this module, the student will learn to discuss different classes, divisions, and groups of hazardous locations; describe intrinsically safe circuits; and identify hazardous installations and equipment.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Interpret building plans, specifications, electric service, and electrical drawings.
- Discuss transformer theory and calculations Identify power distribution systems and their unique connection characteristics and connections.
- Determine appropriate transformer sizes for various projects.
- Identify common signaling systems and their appropriate application.
