INEL 15020 - Static Electricity 0.25 CR
Static electricity can be both helpful and harmful to electricians. The student will learn how static electricity can be used for such applications as spray painting and dust removal, as well as how static must be reduced to prevent explosions and problems in processing.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Interpret basic electrical diagrams.
- Assemble electrical circuits from diagrams and analyze information taken from the circuit.
- Demonstrate proper meter usage and safety practices.
- Identify how theory applied to real-world situations after observing various interactions between electrical components in differing connection schemes.
