RADI 225 - Clinical Practicum

4 CR
The student will participate in clinical education four days a week in the imaging department of an affiliating hospital. With the intensive four-day schedule, it is expected that under the direct supervision of a radiologic technologist and/or physician, the student will have an opportunity to learn and achieve competency on exams and procedures they have yet to experience in the program while continuing to practice and fine-tune already established skills. Computed tomography (CT) observation opportunities may be provided. Emphasis will be placed on patient safety and comfort while professional values, attitudes, and behaviors are facilitated.

Additional Information: Formal admission to the Radiography Program required.
Requisites: Take RADI 131 , RADI 133 , and RADI 134  with at least a grade of C.
