PE 125 - Bicycling 2 CR This course is designed to expose the cyclist to the basic practices and concepts of leisure-time bicycling, which includes riding technique, adjusting the bike to the rider, selection and purchase of equipment, maintenance and repair, bicycle touring, and safety. Bicycle field trips will be taken locally. Students must provide their own bicycle. Additional skill and cardiovascular development obtained within the two (2) credit section of this course. Additional Information: Course may be taken twice for credit toward graduation. Course Learning Outcomes:
- Apply different tools to assess physical fitness components.
- Demonstrate proper techniques of a physical fitness activity.
- Implement knowledge while demonstrating skills to safely engage in a specified physical fitness activity.
