MATH 142 - Calculus 2 5 CR A study of the techniques of integration, limits, series, and applications. Students are required to have a graphing calculator. Specifications will be made by the instructor. Lab Fee
Requisites: Take MATH 141 with at least a grade of C. General Education Requirement: Critical Thinking - Applied Core Michigan Transfer Agreement Requirement: Mathematics Course Learning Outcomes:
- Apply the concept of the integral and how it relates area and function values.
- Demonstrate the concepts of infinite sequences, infinite series, power series, and Taylor series
- Understand L’Hôpital’s rule and how to apply L’Hôpital’s when finding limits.
- Demonstrate skills for integrating functions using common techniques of integration.
- Solve differential equations using separation of variables.
