ALHE 102 - Communication for Health Care Professionals
2CR This course provides the student with the basic concepts of effective communication in the health care environment. Verbal and nonverbal communication and techniques for overcoming communication barriers in the health care environment will be discussed. Students will demonstrate the ability to report relevant patient information accurately and concisely to other health care professionals. Prerequisites & Requisites: ACCUPLACER® reading score of 60, or at least a grade of C in TSRE 55 (AND) (2) An official GED, or an official high school diploma.
