CET 140 - Introduction to Microcomputer Architecture

3 CR
The architecture and instruction set of the Intel ‘86 series of microprocessors is introduced and compared to the other microprocessors and microcontrollers. Programs will be written with the aid of an editor and assembler, and tested using basic interfacing techniques and I/O hardware. A microprocessor research project will be required for completion of this course.  [32-48-80] Lab Fee
Prerequisites & Requisites: Select 1 course from CP 101 ,  CP 103 , or CET 125 .
